Air Command
Air Command is a shortcut to some of the cool new S Pen™ functions. To activate Air command, pull the pen from its location to view the following shortcuts: Action Memo, Scrap booker, Screen Write, S Finder, and Pen Window.

Multi Window Enhancements

Split Bar Handle: Quick and easy access to all the useful functions within Multi Window, like switching apps. Just hover over the bar and then click.

Drag & Drop: Move something from one of your open windows to another open window. Select “Drag and Drop Content” from the menu, select your image, video, or text, and drag it to the other open app, like S Note or email.

Dual Instance: Open one app in two windows. This is especially useful when you are writing two emails or messages at the same time, or referencing two websites side by side. Dual instance is supported in Internet, Google Hangouts™, ChatON™, My Files, and YouTube™.

Paired Window: Save your favorite app arrangements within Multi Window so you can quickly access them from the Multi Window bar whenever you want.

Turn your tablet into a simple remote control with WatchON. Plus you can find out what’s good on TV with WatchON’s reinvented TV guide. You can tell the app what your favorite shows are, and it will let you know when they’re on and even recommend other shows you’ll love. Have a certain movie in mind? Use one-stop search to quickly find the best way to watch it.

My Magazine is flexible, so you can customize it even more. Get instant updates on what matters to you the most. Choose from categories such as: Here and Now, News, Personal, and Social.

S Finder
Easily search or browse for content or activity on your tablet with a click of the S Pen button. This includes your handwritten notes, web history, emails, music, contacts, email, text messages, apps, and more. It then presents all that information to you neatly categorized and organized by date, ranging from 30 days in the past, to now, and even to the future events.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 – 2014 Edition’s integrated S Pen offers the comfort of a pen and the control of a mouse. No more typing! Write phone numbers, search terms, contact info, and more into different input fields using the S Pen, and Samsung’s handwriting-to-text engine will automatically convert your notes to text.
