If you’re a gamer who doesn’t want to carry a PC with you on vacation, you could book your next trip to Panama, where the Hilton has a shower and two beds. Oh, and an Alienware laptop hooked up to a 34-inch ultra-wide monitor, a 65-inch 4K OLED TV, an Alienware PC with a Core i7-7800 and a GTX 1090Ti.
Other amenities include two Elite Controller Xbox One, a racing chair, an Oculus Rift, a 5.1-channel surround sound system, an interactive lighting that’s synced to whichever game you’re playing and a beanbag with an Alienware logo on it. The similar chair features NASA-developed upholstery that is designed to absorb heat from your body, so when you’re in intense game-mode, you won’t find yourself sweating buckets.
“Ensuring an innovative and differentiating service has been our commitment since our opening in Panama and this initiative shows how important it is for us to contribute to improving more and more the options [to] stay in Panama, directly impacting on the tourist offer offered by the country for locals and foreigners,” Andres Korngold, Hilton Panama’s director of business development, told Homecrux.
A single night’s stay in the room at the Panama Hilton costs $349. It makes us bother why the Hilton bothered with a shower and two beds. It’s highly unlikely that a couple would ever book this game room at Panama Hilton.
Why not use the precious space and deck it up with a couple of vintage games like an arcade machine?
If I was spending $349 a night in a game hotel room at Hilton Panama, I wouldn’t worry about personal hygiene. I would keep playing game until I had to check out.
