Mobile : How to Set Up and Sync a Galaxy Device
As exciting as it is to open up the box of a new phone, it can sometimes be stressful to think about transferring your contacts, calendar, photos and media content from your old phone to the new one. We’ve got a few tricks to make sure it’ll be a breeze for you to set up your new device.
Just the Tunes: Transfer iTunes® Content to a Galaxy™ Phone
Put your personal music library in the cloud. With Samsung’s new Music Hub™, and the 100GB cloud locker, you can play your entire music collection wherever you are. Once you’ve signed up with a Music Hub account, install the Music Hub Uploader on your computer and Music Hub does the rest.
Music Hub automatically syncs with your music library (iTunes or Windows® Media Player), then scans your songs and matches them with the titles in the Music Hub catalog so they play at optimized audio quality and reduces the upload time. Unmatched songs are directly uploaded so that you can access all of your recordings, even personal ones. Any time you edit your playlists or buy new music, your collection is automatically updated across all of your devices.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. On your PC, visit the Music Hub site to download the Music Hub Uploader.
2. Run the Uploader and select your music folder: iTunes or Windows Media Player.
3. When you sign in to the app again, your music will be instantly available in My Music.
