Android™
Installing Widgets: You can customize each of the seven home screens with multiple widgets for at-a-glance information. To quickly add a widget, touch and hold a blank area of the home screen to launch the Add menu. Touch Widgets and select the desired widget.
Apps
Security from Lookout®: The preloaded Lookout app protects the phone from malware and spyware, provides backup services, and can help locate a missing device. To enable Lookout security, touch Applications > Lookout Security.
Grouping Apps Into a Folder: Organize related apps into folders for a cleaner, easier to navigate Applications menu. To group apps into a folder, touch Applications and then touch the Menukey > Edit. Drag the desired apps onto the Add Folder icon. Touch Menu key > Save > Yes to create the folder.
Business
Creating a Document in Polaris™ Office: To create a new document, touch Applications > Polaris Office. Touch the Add Document button in the upper left corner and select Document, Sheet, or Slide.
Emergency Alerts
CMAS Capability: The Galaxy S Blaze 4G supports the Commercial Mobile Alert System (CMAS) so that you can receive emergency alerts from T-Mobile® containing information about imminent threats, messages from the President and Amber Alerts.
Entertainment
Watching T-Mobile TV: Enjoy live TV and on-demand video with free channels, or upgrade for additional premium content. With Mobile HD support, users can download shows to watch later. Touch Applications > T-Mobile TV to start watching video or downloading content.
Creating a Personalized Radio Station on Slacker®: Slacker Radio lets you listen to expert-programmed radio stations or create your own station that plays their favorite artists and genres. Touch Applications > Slacker > Create Station/Playlist. Touch Create Station, enter a name for the station, and then add the desired artists.
Gaming with GameBase: Connect with new and hot games in the new T-Mobile app GameBase. From fast-paced racing action to challenging puzzles and word games, GameBase offers a wide variety of games optimized for T-Mobile devices. Check out all that GameBase has to offer at Applications > GameBase.
Social Hub: In addition to aggregating feeds from the top social networks—Facebook®, Twitter® and LinkedIn®—Social Hub provides a universal composer for all types of messages, including email, text, chat,and even social networking messages. Social Hub also syncs social calendar events with the phone's calendar and integrates social networking information such as recent status updates and online photos into Contacts.
Setup
Enhanced Features with iSIM: When installed, the included iSIM card unlocks certain phone features such as Wi-Fi® Calling. Using other SIM cards will reduce the phone's functionality and is not recommended.
Included 4GB microSD™ Card: A 4GB microSD card is included with the purchase of the Galaxy S Blaze 4G. This card &emdash;or another microSD up to 32GB&emdash; should be inserted in the slot on the right side of the phone for proper function of Media Hub and the camera.
